Within this vessel you will find a compendium containing digital facsimiles of photos, videos, music, collectibles, merchandise, memorabilia, instruments, and books with which I have a personal connection to.
The collection represents both my life’s history, and a monument to that which I dedicated my time on earth towards; spreading joy and empowering others by forming meaningful connections with music and art.
The collection is one of a series of other moonbound NFT collections, the physical twins of which now dwell on the blue planet below this satellite. They are minted on the Polygon Blockchain, a permanent digital immutable and cryptographically secure decentralized network on Earth.
Find within this archive the following:
Pink Floyd: The sum of all tour photographs during years spent with Pink Floyd, plus memorabilia including shirts jackets, unused tickets, tour passes, stickers, signed tour books and posters, jacket patches, and nearly 4 hours of never before published, behind the scenes compiled footage of legendary performances by Pink Floyd at Venice and the Palace at Versaille during 1987 through 1989.
SuperTramp: The sum of all tour photographs during years spent with SuperTramp, as well as physical memorabilia collected during the span of years playing with the band.
ToTo: The sum of all tour photographs during years spent with ToTo, as well as physical memorabilia collected during the span of years playing with the band.
My life: Early years spent under the wing of my father Bill Page with footage of me and him playing on the Lawrence Welk variety show, the number one show on television when it aired in the 1950s and 1960s and still running in syndication. Many historic artifacts from that era are digitally represented in the archive as well.
The World’s First Amplified Instruments and the Wah Wah Pedal: The archive includes photos of and depicting marketing materials for sound amplification systems for wind instruments and the historic Wah Wah pedal, which were invented by Brad
Plunkett and my father Bill Page: The guitar effect was popularized by guitar virtuoso Jimi Hendrix, who used the pedal extensively on his recordings.
Over the years, the Wah Wah pedal has been used by a wide range of guitarists in many different musical genres. From funk to metal, country to blues, the Wah Wah has found a home in countless musical styles and has been an essential tool for guitarists looking to add expressive, dynamic range to their playing.
The very first recording of the Wah Wah, called “The Wah Wah doozy” played on a bassoon, was performed by Bill Page, and is in this archive.
The Vox Sound Lab, now Sound City: Originally called The Vox sound lab, and one of the great recording studios of the time founded by my father Bill Page, the studio is the site where Bill developed the world’s first amplified orchestra. It is the place where the first recording of the wah wah pedal was made. Over the years, musicians laid down tracks in the studio including the likes of successful hit artists such as Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, Tom Petty and the
Heartbreakers, Bob Dylan, Guns N' Roses, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Slayer,
Rage Against the Machine, Death Cab for Cutie, and Fall Out Boy. The studio was renamed as Sound City in 1969.
This archive contains a number of photos from that studio featuring major musicians across the decades of rock history.
Major Life Moments: In my life I have shared a number of amazing moments with some of the most iconic figures of our times.
Featured within the archive are photos of me with Lady Dianna, Quincy Jones, James Brown, Diana Ross and numerous legendary entertainers, musicians, and artists.
Overall the archive contains individual files spanning across my life on earth.
